The Gambia Electricity | The PowerShips & Their Environmental Impact

I this Video Post, We will look at the example of the powership stationed off the coast of the Gambia to get a better understanding of how these ships work and the environmental impact.

Many countries around the world, particularly poor countries, experience long-standing electricity shortages. One idea is to use ships that have been converted or adapted to operate as floating power stations to do this.

A Powership (a vessel outfitted with energy producing equipment) is permanently anchored off the coast, according to the concept. The ship can then create energy using either oil or gas, which can subsequently be delivered to shore. This power generation method is primarily employed in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

GM24 TV will discuss how these ships may be damaging the environment in this post. To gain a better grasp of how these ships work and their environmental impact, we will look at the example of a powership stationed off the coast of Gambia.
