Gambia news: APRC’s Deputy Interim Leader Ousman (Rambo) Jatta to be Adopted Today as a “Father” at Kunkujang Jattaya, West Coast Region.
The people of this community have unanimously chosen to adopt Ousman (Rambo) Jatta, as their father. Rambo, a Bakau based firebrand politician, is APRC’s deputy party leader.
In an interview with this medium, Dodou Jah, the deputy spokesperson of the party, said the move to adopt his deputy party leader as a father, did not come to them as a surprise, however it is very heartwarming for an entire community in a zone which is considered a political power house to give them such a recognition, he added.
“We are very much appreciative of the move, it shows the amount of love the party continues to enjoy among Gambians and when we go the Kunkujang later today, we will reward them genuinely” he said.
The spokesperson also explained how the entire leadership of the party and a multitude of supporters plans to approach the event in style.
“You know at APRC, we move in huge crowds, so we will all converge at Tallinding and then from 3pm the convoy will set out to the venue, there will be a welcoming around Mandanari, where tons of supporters from the West Coast Region will receive and escort us to the community, so we expecting another historic occassion”.
