The Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction APRC, under the leadership of Honorable Yaya Tamba and the National Executive Committee of the party has invited all stakeholders, party members across all structures, supporters, and patriotic Gambians to its mega victory celebration scheduled to hold from Friday, 24th to Sunday 26th June, 2022.
The venue for the event is at Kanilai, President Jammeh home village in Foni kansala District, West Coast Region.
The event, which will grace the presence of major bigwigs from the party across the country, was announced by the former president of the republic of the Gambia, and party leader, His Excellency H. E Prof. Alhaji Yahya A.J.J Jammeh.
As obtained by GM24 TV, the mega celebration is themed:
“To improve and build on the strengths and achievements of the party, Turning its weaknesses and threats into opportunities for a better Gambia”
Amazingly, the Inspector General of Police’s office has granted the APRC (NAM) permission to hold this mega event on the scheduled date and within the legal parameters.
It is no surprise that the APRC, led by Yahya Jammeh, is gaining popularity among patriotic Gambians and lovers of truth.
APRC is organizing this mega victory celebration after the ruling NPP suffered a devastating blow in the April 9th parliamentary election.
This is not unconnected to the president’s failure in his responsibilities to address soaring inflation, food shortages, corruption and lack of security.
APRC in its invitation letter, said that the aim of organizing this mega victory party is to ap-preciate and motivate all electorates who had contributed towards the parliamentary elections held on the 9th of April, 2022.
It is also aimed at celebrating the recorded successes of the APRC towards reigniting Gam-bia’s image and lost glory.
As well as deliberate on policies that will deliver the people from poor leadership, human and natural resource exploitation from both foreign and neighboring countries.
Other Dignitaries expected to grace the event include the founder and leader of the GDC party, Hon. Mamma Kandeh, Dr. Thamsir Mbowe, Hon. Abdoulie Bojang, Mrs. Nancy Sinyan, former speakers of the national assembly, APRC UK, USA, Mauritani branches, rep-resentatives of the Mayors of Senegal, Baitulai Al Mahrusa, former chief of Kombo East, Basiru Jarju, Aja Babun Sidibeh of Janjanburrey (Mccarthy), as well as all the candidates of the NO TO AL-LIANCE MOVEMENT in the recently concluded parliamentary elections.
The current Gambian president’s party, the NPP, narrowly won the recent parliamentary elections. The party was unable to secure the necessary majority to rule the country alone.
The NPP won 18 out of the 53 available seats, while the United Democratic party (UDP) won
15, making them the largest opposition party in Gambia. Independent (No To Alliance Movement) won all the 5 seats in Foni. The National Reconciliation Party
(NRP) won 4, while the PDOIS and the Allliance for Patriotic Reorientation and
Construction (APRC) won 2 seats respectively.
