Very good morning Gunners fans
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey could be back and available for the Gunners sooner than expected from his Africa Cup of Nations duty.
The star was called up by pre-tournament favourites Ghana but they are on the brink of elimination after only picking up a point from their opening two games in Group C.
Ghana will play Morocco in their final group game on Tuesday.
And Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has dismissed ‘false rumours’ he left the Gabon squad due to indiscipline.
The Arsenal striker did not feature in either of Gabon’s first two group games at AFCON.
Aubameyang tweeted: “We have some problems that are hard to resolve by themselves, then rumours get thrown into the mix.
“We have to look after our health first and foremost. I’m not going to talk about the false rumours and I truly hope our team goes as far as possible.”
And the Gunners have been given some good news after Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl admitted Denis Zakaria could leave.
The Swiss midfielder, 25, has been linked with Arsenal and Premier League rivals Manchester United.
Eberi, who was also fielding questions about Borussia defender Matthias Ginter, told Kicker: “I cannot rule out that both will leave the club in winter.”
